Thanks. Frank was looking for the 70% coupon too.

Could someone list the steps to pay now and have the credits used towards fresh gift certificates that become available at the beginning of the year?

Pretty sure they don't, but I will end up buying beer or wine anyway.

I have seen posts on this before, but this is the first time I jumped in to get my feet wet! I live in a very small beach town, but 2 of my fav restaurants were in there!!

This is great. I am sure they will see an increase in sales as we get closer to the holidays.

That's a great savings on the certificate, but the two restaurants we would use it at have raised their minimum food purchase from $35 to $50 and $60.

                    Very disappointing.

C'mon, you go to your restaurant with a $25 cert that cost you $3 and expect to be out of there for $10 + tip? The restaurant gets advertising out of this, the .com pockets the $3. Cut the restaurant some slack, you're lucky they're still participating and/or they aren't severly limited in #s. My fav nearby restaurant is out of certs the first day of each/every month.

Bought $52 worth of GC-s yesterday. Already used one $50 GC at dinner last night. Life is good.

You do your math, we'll do ours.

We eat well for $20, without any certificate, at restaurants of our choosing.

To use the certificate at one of the two restaurants within 100 miles that we would go to via Rest.com, we would have to spend $30 or $40 more total, in order to get a discount.

All I did was post information that others may find useful. I seem to be having a hard time making simple observations lately without you finding fault with it. No one else seems to.

PS: What is the purchase requirement at your favorite restaurant . . . $25 . . . or more?
