We have a traditional pie and cake that I bake every year for both T'giving and Christmas. The cake is a rocky road fudge cake and the pie pumpkin praline, I also do a chocolate pecan pie ocassionally that get rave reviews, but I don't eat it.
If anyone wants the receipt pm me and I will scan them to you.

YUM!! I am a pie lover. I must try your chocolate pecan if you're not too busy to send it.
I'm going to my brother's for T'Giving, and am in charge of the pies. So, I figured that I'd get some from Briermere Farms, and I'd like to bake a couple, as well.
I'm not really a baker so I'm looking on web for recipes, but although some look good, I can't be sure. Does anyone have a recipe for a good Coconut Custard, or Chocolate Cream Pie?
I'll get the others from Briermere Farms.
Another really great option is Tates Bake Shop (formerly Kathleen's Bake Shop) in Southampton - KILLER bake goods, pies, etc.
