Somebody explain to me again, what is so great about keeper leagues!! lol

It add a little more strategy to drafting and the wavier wire.

Will there be a rule that you can only keep your keeper for 1 year?

That is something I have been thinking about and here is my opinion. I think we should wait until after next years draft and then open it to a discussion as to what we want to do. As I said this is just my opinion. What do others thinks?

Being the nice guy that I am, I will offer to trade my 11th spot to Al to give him a better shot at getting two keepers.

I think Al should go for it for a . Who would want to draft 1st anyways.

I have been looking at the CBS website and the possible ways to implement a keeper league and most of the record keeping would fall on the commissioner to do it manually. So here is what I purpose we do to keep it smiple.

1. Keeper no players, keep 1 player, or keep 2 players
2. If you keep 1 player you forfeit your 1st round draft pick
3. If you keep 2 players you forfeit your 1st and 2nd round draft picks
4. If you keep 2 players they can't be at the same position

Thoughts????

Are these the "official" keeper rules now? Also, we are only able to keep a player for two years, is that right?

It may make a difference on who I draft on Tuesday...

I did a mock draft last night with 11 other people on the cbs site. It was very interesting. I hated the team I drafted from the eleventh spot but when I compared it to others, it didn't seem any worse than what they had. I just hated the guys I ended up with! Gonna do it again today. It's a great way to figure out startegy. It reminded me that when I make my even round picks, I better make a good one because it'll be 21 players later before I get another shot.

Do we want to put a limit on the number of years you can keep a player. Other then that question I think we offical rules for next year.

Before the draft you should enter the draft room to make sure your Java is updated. Also the interface has changed a litttle.

Here is the daft order.

1 Beach Bums
2 A-Team
3 Pelikens
4 SACK PACK
5 Goose Squad
6 Purple People Eaters
7 Hangers
8 bigfrank
9 Little Lions
10 Green and Gold
11 Doom
12 EX-OPS

Drafting 9-7-2010 at 8 PM EST 7 PM CST
