    It tastes best when eatten with in 2 days. There is a place I buy from in NJ and they tell you not to put it in the fridge at all and to eat it with in 2 days. If they do not ship then I will place it in ice packs and send it 2days by the time you get it it should be at room temp and should be still have thet fresh taste.

      I called the pasta store and he can not ship it but I also called the place in Hoboken NJ, This is where I buy my favorite Mozzi most and IMO it is the best out there. This place was just on TV and is also a where Frank Sinatra used to buy his Mozz. They will ship it for me fed ex 2 day Mike, Just get me your address asap Fiore's Deli: A Hoboken tradition since 1913

            YOu have 3 pounds coming of the best fresh Mozz that is made in the NY/NJ area. The only place that is better is in Italy. It is shipping out tomorrow night with Fedex 2 day so I hope someone will be home on Friday morning. It can stay out of the fridge for a day but you need to eat all of it with in 2 days so get some company over and enjoy it!

            BTW because you do so much as far as running this FF for us. I added a dry Mozz that can last 2 weeks a piece of Smoked Mozz and some real hot and sweet Italian Sausage.

              • Sounds wonderful - we've got grandchildren coming over Friday. Two of them live on cheese and peanut butter so we'll have penty of help, but 3 pounds is a lot of cheese may have to plan a party to watch the Badgers play on Sat.

                We just ordered some new pasta bowls from a local potter and are planning a dinner party when they are done - may need to save the hot and sweet sausage for my red sauce!!

                  It is a lot but once you dig in it will be gone. One time me and my Cousin ate 3 pounds at the counter with out leaving the store. Whem you get it fresh it is still hot and that is the way to eat it. You might try to nuck a small piece for 10 secs just to see what it is like.

                  BTW try to eat it asap it loses something the longer it sits. If when you get it and it is cold let it get to room temp before eatting

                        Was it cold or room Temp when it was delivered and did you eat it at room temp?

                          It was packed in cold packs and they did their job. We eat it at room temp. My grandson (Dan's son) liked it to in fact he was asking for more this morning.
