According to the schedule, this week is the final week of the regular season. Is this correct? Also, can someone link us (or copy and paste) to the playoff format ?

A total of 7 teams will make the Championship bracket. The top 6 teams plus the team with the most points scored.

The team with the most points scored will come from the from the remaining 8 teams
The reaming 7 teams will be in the toilet bowl.
The top seeded and 8th seeded teams will get byes.


First round

3 vs 6
2 vs 7

8 bye
11 vs 12
10 vs 13
9 vs 14

Wow, I don't remember that at all. We only have 12 teams this year so I would expect something to change.

I think this bracketing is correct.

Round 1
Championship Bracket
Team 1 Bye
Team 2 Bye
Team 3 vs Team 6
Team 4 vs Team 5

Crap Bowl
Team 7 Bye
Team 8 Bye
Team 9 vs Team 12
Team 10 vs Team 11

Going in to the final weekend of the regular season I think this is where we are. Please correct me if I am wrong.

These teams have clinched a spot in the championship bracket with seeding TBD

1. Hangers
2. Sack Pack
3. A-Team

These teams are playing for spots 4, 5, and 6 in the championship bracket.

1. Beach Bums
2. Goose Squad
3. Bigfrank
4. Purple People Eaters
5. Green and Gold

If Beach Bums wins he is in.

The rest of the playoff picture is murky and might be settled by head to head competition and points scored

Here are the big matches this weekend

1. Bigfrank vs Purple People Eaters
2. Goose Squad vs Green and Gold

We can figure out the crap bowl later

Here's the tiebreaker quote from the web site:

Ties in the standings are resolved in this order: Winning Percentage, Total Points.

... so, I don't think head-to-head makes a difference.

I still think since we added more teams we should have 9 teams going for the big ts4ms trophy

Brackets don't work out with an odd number, you would have to have 1 team on a bye every week of the playoffs until the championship game. Even if we did that the championship game would be played during week 17, when a lot of starters are sitting.

I say we run it 6 and 6, championship bowl and everyone else can join me in the crap bowl.

You do know that if you win and other people lose than you are in the C bracket.

Not all of our league rules follow those on CBS's website. Having said that I don't think we use winning percentage as one of the tiebreakers. If my memory severs me correctly we use head to head and then points scored. My memory has failed in the past so if I am wrong someone please correct me.
