I copied that tiebreaker rule quote directly from the yellow box that includes all of the custom choices made when the league was set up. For example, it's where your phone number shows up among other 'custom' choices that were made on setup.

I guess that I'm not sure what 'winning percentage' would even mean, becasue I don't see how you can have a 'tie' and also have a different winning percentage. So, possibly 'winning percentage' does means head-to-head like you originally thought? I don't know... guess we'll find out.

    • I think my son is pissed at me now. I told him to pick up and play Dixon and sit Chris Ivory because Gore was out and I heard Westbrooke was hurt. I also heard that P Thomas might be playing with R Bush giving Ivory less touches. So I figured that was a great pick up. Man did I screw up his game and will now cost him the win and a play off spot. Westbrook played giving Dixon only 50% of the carries and Ivory got all the carries since Thomas did not play. I tried to get word to him to get Ivory back in but he got my text after the 1 pm deadline because of his reception in his dorm room at School is very poor

I am so sorry little buddy

I wish I could say I feel your pain but I don't. Sal is only 18 behind with S. Homes and Keller to play. Home's high for this season is 24 points and Dustin Keller's is 21 points. So this is long way from being over.

AND Branch scorded how many points last week. 18 points is hard enough to come by but then add in what ever Branch gets and that 18 ends up being 36

Would it matter what the winning percentage is? Hangers and Sack Pack are tied with 9-W and 3-L. Their winning percentage is also the same 0.750. So I think winning percentage is a non factor. I think the first tie breaker is head to head competition and then points scored for the season.

If I am wrong would someone chime in. We are going to have to use some tie breakers this year.

I guess I should fix the tie breaker info on the home page.

I don't think 18 points is enough too win. Branch needs to score some points. He has scored anywhere between 1 and 23 points in a game this year. He is all over the board and could come up big or fall flat and give me .

                IMO
if they played before the winner wins it then total points scored if they both won one from each other

Yes, you are saying what I was saying... I think. I would think that if you're tied then winning percentage would have to be the exact same also. I guess it would get interesting if there was a team that had two ties, then winning percentage might come into play. But, the way we score our league in decimal points, a tie is very unlikely.

                  Perhaps we'll find out tomorrow...

                  • If the order of finish is determined by number of wins followed by winning percentage it insures that an 8-7-1 team is seeded higher than an 8-8 team. I think that's the only reason it's written that way.

                    • I think this is the correct seeding. Would someone check to see if this is right?

There were two games this year where the winner won by .1 of a point

Check with who? CBS has it differently, and they appear to list it as if total points is the tie breaker.

                            • Is there any way we can include my son in the play offs? I feel so bad about what happened. I believe the only problem is that the first place team would not get a bye. If the first place team which there is a tie with and both Mike and Walt agrees that they do not mind to play my son then he would be allowed to compeat for the gold rather than the crapper, If you want to add a bye then since Mike D is in 9 then include Mr Drinkwater in it so all then 9 teams can be in it. Heck we 4 incuding Lawren all have the same record.

Can we do 8 or 9 this year? :Pope:
