Any interest in the US ? Will games be shown ? CNN just presented a 45 minute feature ...was it shown in US ?
next Sat the US play England (some how the UK can enter 4 teams , but that another issue ).
Games will be more popular and attract much wider audiences than the Olympics.

I have a fixed SA week for sale on various websites. It's week 25 at Glenmore Sands (not too far from Durban). I thought about the World Cup before I deposited with RCI.

Last two weeks, I had two parties interested in renting my week. One even offered to buy my timeshare if I could get this year's week back from RCI. If this happened a couple of months before the starting date, I might have given it a try.

FYI, this week is rented at over 700R per night by the resort, and there is no inventory within the next month...my maintenance fee for 2010 was 2300R. Wish I had not deposited with RCI...

Agree ..a bit like the (non ) World Series in baseball. (no Japan or Cuba !)..who cares...(at least soccer is almost worldwide...not my game but...its a funny world )
Problem is soccer is played by super stars...but after 90 minutes a typical score might be 1 -1 !

In spite of what some say there is a lot of interest in US.
All 64 games will be broadcast on either ESPN, ESPN2 or ABC and some will be simulcast on ESPN.com.
The whole schedule is posted here:
