There is plenty wrong with USA men's basketball, but I'm sure that discussion would not be allowed here.

We tend to find out what's wrong with it when we get in strong international competitions.

If a University women's basketball team wins 90 games in a row and nobody is there to see it, did it actually happen?

      Stanford > UConn.

Looks like you started celebrating early.

IMO any team winning 90 in a row in any sport is an amazing achievement.

100 % Chauvanists. Even John Wooden said that womens' basketball was a more pure form of basketball. You just can't accept women being better at anything but slave labor.
Please don't accuse me of something you know nothing about. I have coached mens' and womans' basketball on all levels included AAU. I have two daughters that played and I can assure you that men and women play on entirely different levels. I don't take well to bigoted remarks that attack me personally.

This link should be pulled anyway because it has nothing to do with timeshares.

Duh ! This is a sports forum in our community area. So what professional team(s) did you coach ? I would assume that all levels includes AAU. What evidence do you have that I haven't coached basketball or know nothing about it ? It's a good idea to insert facts before wiggling one's fingers on a keyboard.

I don't have to prove anything to you. Your bigoted remarks speak for themselves.

I guess you have nothing to prove.

I can not believe you are a moderator. You have accused me of things that are completely untrue and you should be banned. I said nothing in my first post that would cause you to say such incendiary things about me. I did not attack you personally until you attacked me. You are way too sensitive about woman's basketball and assume every male that says anything you construe to be negative on the subject is a chauvinist and does not want women to succeed in this world. I actually enjoy watching womens' basketball but I keep in prospective. The mens' game is a different animal and can not be compared for records purposes with womans' game.

I am done with this and this will be my last post on this matter.

So, perhaps a comparison was not such a good idea on your part.

It is much harder to accomplish such a streak in men's basketball because the depth of talent across the nation is much better. They are not nearly as many outstanding women basketball players as there are men in the men's programs. That is why you see such outlandish victories in the woman's programs. Kudos to the uconn women because they hold the NCAA streak for women but UCLA still holds the NCAA streak for men.
