Me Jimmy and my son are in and My nephew who played at the end wants in if there is room for Cousin Joe he wanted to play as well

When is the draft? We are leaving for 2 weeks as soon as we get back my son is off to school so it might be a bit hard for him this year. I suggest making the draft as late as you can. Also I want to know if I can ask my Nephew and cousin.

Do We Have A Draft Date Yet?

I understand that NFL Teams must reduce their roster to 53 players by Sept. 4th, two days after the fourth and final week of the exhibition season.

The first game is the Saints at the Packers on September 8th. I will be there.

Therefore, I think either Sunday September 4th or September 5th would be best because there would still be time for some trades before the first game.

The poll results for what day would you like to draft.

Sept. 4th - 2
Sept. 5th - 1
Sept. 6th - 1
Sept. 7th -1
Early then Sept. - 1

It looks like we will be drafting on the 4th. at:
8:00 PM Eastern Time
7:00 PM Central Time
6:00 PM Mountain Time
5:00 PM Pacific Time

It is hard to plan the draft around Labor Day Weekend so if the time is not goiing to work for you maybe we can work something out.

The trading of draft picks is a draft day function that allows the teams in your league to trade their draft picks. This feature is only a draft option and cannot be used during the off-season or during the season. The purpose of the trading draft picks feature is to allow your league to trade draft picks after your league’s online draft has been scheduled. Teams will be able to trade their draft picks until the online draft has been completed.

Speaking of trades, who needs a tight end? I have Gates, Clark and Finley and I can't keep all three. I think Finley would look good on the little lions team...

Here are the keeper rules.


1. Keep no players, keep 1 player, or keep 2 players
2. If you keep 1 player you forfeit your 1st round draft pick
3. If you keep 2 players you forfeit your 1st and 2nd round draft picks
4. No limit on how long you can keep a player
5. You can keep players at any position (that means you can keep 2 RB...2WR...2K)
6. The draft order would be reverse order of finish from the previous year
7. Eliminate the snake draft

So, if I trade a player for say a 4th round pick before the draft starts so the player's new team can add him to their keeper list, once the draft starts the swap of a 4th for my pick in the last round takes place. Is that how you see it or are you saying that we can only make trades with the players we keep and those that we draft on draft day?

With the changes of switching to a keeper league and the trading of draft picks we need to take it one step at a time. I think this is what we need to do and in this order.

1. Set keepers if you are going to keep any the default deadline day was August 21st.
   
2. Set the draft day date which is Sept. 4th and I think this will allow the trading of draft picks.
   
3. Clear the rosters so draft prep can be done.

Who ever takes Mike's spot will have 16 picks (no keepers) and will draft last in each round.
