Lost Charles in my two other leagues... If the Super Bowl was next week, I'd have to give it to the Patriots and the Packers. Long way to go!

Here Are The Rules Posted in 2010 For Our Keepers League

These are the rules we put in place last year for our keepers league.

Keep no players, keep 1 player, or keep 2 players
If you keep 1 player you forfeit your 1st round draft pick
If you keep 2 players you forfeit your 1st and 2nd round draft picks
No limit on how long you can keep a player
You can keep players at any position (that means you can keep 2 RB...2WR...2K)
The draft order would be reverse order of finish from the previous year
Eliminate the snake draft

Why?

It defeats the whole idea of a 'keeper' league.

Now I would like to know how you ended up getting the kicker I should have had on Wenesday when you were supposed to be looking into why I did not get him. I am claiming foul here.

It's because you dropped your kicker (Carpenter) on 9/14 the same day Janikowski was dropped, and not yet cleared the waiver, from the rules section of our league "Dropped players remain on waivers for at least 2 day(s)."

Mike put in a claim for Janikoski after dropping him (don't ask me the logic here, he's old). Since you had already made half a dozen wire pickups and won your week 1 game, you were lower on the waiver order then Mike. Since he was higher on the waiver wire then you, he got the Janikoski as soon as he cleared waivers.

No foul here, or need to accuse someone of a foul. You jumped the gun by dropping your kicker before the one you wanted was eligible to be picked up.

I did not drop my kicker I was trading my kicker for Janikowski wwhich I thought was a free agent but it took my kicker with out giving me a new one. I am thinking something went wrong with my trade.

If you treated the transaction as a drop of one player and a separate add of another then they happen as two different transactions. If you use the add/drop menu where you pick the two players you want to drop and add from scrollable lists, then you won't drop one without picking up another.

I am pretty sure I did not use the add drop since I have never used it before. I actually did better with Carpenter but even if you added both kickers totals I am together from both game 1 and 2 I still lose this week.


BTW Dan I am sure your dad knows I don't mean anything and that I play around a lot. I appreciate him running this league, I look forward to it all year. Besides I sent my son to give him a whooping. Mike I never thought I would see you in running for the low score of the year.

I did not see the edit till now, I have 3 guys I can drop but to be fair remove the person that I picked up with him which was Alexander.

Never mind Rice is in the family, My son got him so I will see what it will cost me to get him back, I could always cut off his Tuition

And to top it off my son used him as a last sec replacement for Gates and Rice had 109 yds receiving

Low score of the year I don't want that to happen.

Mike your title did not last long, I would like to congratulate my best friend Jimmy who scored a whopping 44.9 points, WTG Vikingboy that wins you lowest score for this season. In fact I believe it was the lowest score ever in our league. All I can say is thank god
