I'm not a Packer fan, but really enjoyed reading your thoughts. I had no idea that the feelings are still so intense about Favre.

I will say that Rodgers is in a league all his own. Every team that plays the Packers knows that they'll have to stop the passing game, and that's because that's mainly what they do. And yet, nobody has been successful. (At least I don't know of anyone). They seem to have the same formula that made the Patriots successful in the past. I'm going to be closely watching to see how it works in the upcoming cold weather games.

It would be interesting to watch the Packers play against a great defensive team.

So, who's the best Packer QB of all time? Favre, Rodgers, or Starr?

I'm not a Packer fan, but really enjoyed reading your thoughts. I had no idea that the feelings are still so intense about Favre.

I will say that Rodgers is in a league all his own. Every team that plays the Packers knows that they'll have to stop the passing game, and that's because that's mainly what they do. So, who's the best Packer QB of all time? Favre, Rodgers, or Starr?

Brett had a stronger arm than Bart. I saw Bart and Brett both play in their best years. NFL football was different than it is now. The Running game was very important in the 1960s. Bart also played less games per season than Brett. Playing today I would think his passing records would be much better. Jim Taylor and Paul Hornung and the Defense were just as important to the Packers winning as Bart Starr.

Here is an example of a Packers/Vikings result:

The Packers won 34-7. September 16, 1962. This is the year that the Packers were 13-1 with their only loss to the Lions.

Taylor had 75 yards on 17 Att. No TD's
Hornung had 67 yards on 10 ATT. 3 TD's 2 FGs and 4 extra points
Starr was 7 for 14 with 1 TD.
The Defense had 5 INTs.

Balance was the name of the game then.

But for winning NFL Championships, Bart was best.

And also remember Bart called his the plays during this time period.

But Rodgers may become the best of the best, only time will tell.

Does it matter to me who is best? NO, It is just great that the Packers' Nation were able to see 3 great Quarterbacks in the last 50 years. And Lynn Dickey was not too far behind the three.

I have had a problem with the waver order this year. I know I have problems Might be cause I am catching up to Mike and Walt in age. Anyway what is it, Is the order going by your place and if you had a pick up it puts you at the end which is what I thought it was.

What will it take to get Cam Newton?

I wasn't sure what I was planning on doing with him.

I'm going to be Ted Thompson on this one, I don't want the QB, but I don't want to play against him, so he will be on the block for toilet bowl condenders only. I would like either a top WR or RB. Currently I have an offer from the old man for Jennings.

Just saw JD also paid $40 so I gotta ask who paid $40 and who paid $35. IMO it was posted back from the start by our Comish $15 for the fees and $25 for the pool which is what it should be.
