Also In the past years I paid extra to cover any paypal charges but I noticed this year I did not. Most likely cause I had a ton of headachs from tenats at that time which has gone on up till Dec 1.

There are a few ideas I would love to see us do here that we do on my other FF. I like to be able to set my line up for the entire season. This is a plus if you travel(BTW we are a travel website ) Also I think the way we do our waver is not as good as what I just posted above, Playoffs, First 8 teams make it with no byes 1 plays 8, 2 plays 7 and so on. On Yahoo we get medals and trophy for a few things like winning by the biggest blowout which also gets posted on the weekly wall. making a trade , adding a player to your watch list, Coming back from behind and even stating a player that should have had 5 points but ended up with over 20 and much more.
Mike I would like to see if I can get you in the league I am in next year so you can see how Yahoo is.

Rule Changes?

I thought we all agreed that the order of finish for this year has nothing to do with the order or the draft. The fair way is a random draw for the order of the draft. This years results will have nothing to do with the team you will have next.

I vote for a random draft order.

The purpose of the waiver list is to allow the lower teams in this weeks standings the right to pick up the best player for their team before the higher teams can.

Based on the standings of that week the teams are listed with the team that is last in the standings, the first choice in the waiver list. If that team picks up a player he moves down to the bottem of the list. If every team picks up a player for that week, the last place team end up on top again.

The waiver order resets after each weeks' games.
• Dropped players remain on waivers for at least 2 day(s).

I vote for a waiver order based on standings with once a pick is made that team move down to the bottem of the list and moves up as more picks are made by other teams.

If you are doing a keeper league then it is not fair to have a random draft. IMO the way Mike has it set is the fair way since we have keepers. Is it fair that a person holding Aaron Rogers gets a first pick

I believe the problem I had was the reseting part. I do not believe it is fair that you can be picking up player after player and the one time I go to grab someone I get DEnied My way it will be a race to grab a hot player or pick up an injury replacement. Both mine and your way will work better than what we have in place now. I was not using the waver wire for some time and I just assumed I was moving up the ladder. I still like my way better but I would be happy with your way

I thought that's the way that it's done now. What's the difference?

On the rule changes, I'm in favor of rule changes being made before the start of the season. Whatever the concensus is on the changes is fine with me, as long as it's early in the process.

On the draft order, I thought the way we did it this past year worked out well.

yes but that does not make it fair if the person who may have won the year before cause he had the top 2 players for ex like Rogers and AP and if you had bad players and do not want to keep anyone then there are no top players to grab and then the guy holding the 2 top guys draft in front of you. No way that is fair. Look at Jimmy he has no one that he should keep and in last place should he get a last place draft to

Frank, makes a good point about the draft. As we are entering the 2nd year of a keeper league some rules may have to be tweaked or changed.

If there are any rule changes they should be done before the start of the next season.

Since we are a bit slow in our old age and it takes weeks to figure out what is going on and by the time we agree we forget what we agree on. I think we need to appoint someone to keep tabs on the changes. I think Len whould be good for this. I also think we should put these ideas in a new thread FF 2012 and copy some of these ideas there. Not sure but I think Len can do that.
