I can remember no greater sports thrill in my lifetime than watching Dave Andreychuk hoist the Stanley Cup for the Tampa Bay Lightning at the end of Game 7 of the last NHL playoffs! What a ride! I was born and raised in Florida, so the fact that winning the Stanley Cup was more of a thrill for me than the Bucs' Super Bowl victory is nothing short of amazing. We Floridians, after all, have football in our DNA.

I'm rootin' for Carolina, but whichever team wins has accomplished one of the most difficult feats in sports. The privilege of skating the Stanley Cup is a tough one to achieve.

I know I'm biased but there is no greater sports honour than hoisting and drinking from Lord Stanley's Cup!
