I hadn't been following Moo U, as they don't get a lot of media coverage in SW FL. I was surprised when I checked on them a couple weeks ago.

Best game yet was Murray State vs Marquette. The Big East other than Marquette will not miss Jae Crowder. The good UCONN team plays tonight against Kansas State for a sweet sixteen berth. Iowa State's women lost in the first round in a game I picked them to win.

Kansas was very flat against Purdue, and lucky to be moving on.

The Big 12 OR SO has done poorly.

And the "overrated" Big East has 4 in the sweet sixteen. BTW UCONN's best set another record tonight by holding K-state to 26 points-the lowest in NCAA tournament history---and yes they cleared the bench (except 1)---K-state hit a last second jumper to make it to 10 pts. at the half.

And Tuesday night, Kentucky vs UCONN women for the ticket to the final four. A busy season for Mr. Henley. But I don't think a trip to Kingston, RI is on his itinerary.

Oh yeah, we had DISH on Pause, and when we got back I spent two days trying to get it activated. Then the hard drive crashed.

I had to delete it and didn't get it going again until a phone call to DISH about 1/2 hour before the Bluegrass Elimination Game.

I was proud of Roys, err, Bill's boys, for their persistence. They are great when they are great and they suck when they suck.

A great final would be if both teams suck, play a lousy game, and it's tied with 1 minute to go. That would be a true test.

Both teams will be so jacked up at tip off that we'll probably see about five minutes of clanker-bricks.

My women are still alive and play tonight in the final four against Notre Dame (for the 4th time this season). I don't know why they arranged it to eliminate the chance of another big east final again this year. I guess they remember a few years ago when Louisville and Uconn played a lopsided game for the title.

Cats beat Cards. Big game for everyone in Kentucky. There will be some KY House members getting beat this election year because their opponent will use their skipping the Friday night budget bill vote to skip off to New Orleans.
