Smith and Tebow is not a good comparison, Tebow and a freight train is.

I thought it was a brilliant move by the Jets. They gave up a 4th round pick and swapped a 6th for a 7th. That's nothing for a potential difference maker. Tebow is not a franchise savior but he could make a difference.

No, there has never been another Tebow, but there have been QBs that are not drop-back pocket passing QBs.

          Like Brad Smith for instance.

          T: 6'2", 236 40: 4.71-4.78
          Smith: 6'2", 212 40: 4.46

From 2007 (8?): Smith has been used recently in the Jets "Wildcat" or "Seminole" formations.

          Hmmmm! Seminole.

Then he got injured, as is likely for any running QB in the NFL.

I'm watching TMZ, and it is on there, the Jets' QB controversy. They just did what we are talking about, Ryan dropping the F-Bomb and T praying.

          Funny.

Remember when Pittsburgh tried this with Antwaan Randle El? That seemed to work out OK for the most part.

I must say though, I'm not sure I see Tebow fitting in the New York lifestyle....

I forgot to post a few things, Tebow is living in Hoboken NJ on 14th and Washington 4 blocks from my sons School. Some of my sons friends live in the same building as Tebow. There is a chance he may run into him some day hanging out at the [STRIKE]Bars[/STRIKE] Oops he can't go to bars he is to good, Restaurants that serve drinks sounds more like it.

Oh BTW I got a Tebow Jersey for my Birthday.
