  • Uconn womens' basketball now to be broadcast on SNY

All Uconn womens' games had been broadcast previously on CT's public broadcasting station and other networks such as CBS and ESPN, but a new 4 year contract will change that to SNY. CBS and ESPN will continue to broadcast
the high interest games. This past season's team made it to the NCAA final four and lost one senior to graduation. This year 3 of the top 5 high school all-americans will be joining the team and a return trip to the final four is expected along with a good shot at being national champs.

What is there to know about women's basketball? It is just flat boring. There are some women's sports that are quite enjoyable to watch such as softball, volleyball, tennis BUT women's basketball is painful. I am a big basketball fan but only the male version.

Tony, I"m with you on this and have been since I first watched Sue Bird.

Great news on who is joining the team - thanks for that info - hadn't had the chance to check in on that.

Those who know basketball, like the late John Wooden, liked women's basketball because it was a purer version of basketball.
