    2. Change FG scoring 0-45 yards = 3 points, 45 to 55 yards = 4 points, 55 yards and plus = 5 points
    3. Changing the 2nd TE position to a flex position where that position could be filled with a WR, TE, or RB.
    4. For each reception a WR, QB, RB, TE, and K will get 1 point plus the points for yardage and TDs.
    5. Negative yards treated as a negative. If a player has 100 yards receiving and -15 rushing, right now they still get 10 points. It should only be 8.5.
Mike moved your posts to this thread since we are trying to keep all the changes for next year here so we can find the ideas easy next season.

BTW we should start with the changes and who is playing about 6 weeks early since we are a bit slow figuring out we are doing and what date to pick for draft day.

On number 4. The only way that works is if you just combine all yardage rushing/receiving for the player. Currently they are two separate stats.

      FYI: Current stat line: D. Sproles RB NO 0 v CAR 3 8:54 2Q 1st and 10 at CAR 34 -6 RuYd -0.6
Are you my friend Danny? How about a Fresca?

Good Call. In one of my other leagues, we vote on all rule changes during our playoffs through the NFL superbowl. That way they are fresh in our minds. What's funny is usually the owners trying for rule changes are the ones that those proposed rules would've helped their team win a game or two.

I think we want to keep receiving and rushing yards separate.

I ran a league for a long time where the FG points were determined by the first number in the length. 22 yards was 2 pts, 37 was 3, 48 was 4, 60 was 6.

The way it is working today seems good. The PPR thing is growing on me now that I see it in action. It makes the flex position more relevant.

I played with the rules for the scoring yesterday and forgot to reset them so we are using PPR and negative yards will be scored as negative points. I will reset the scoring but I don't know if it will change the totals.

Why not leave it? Anybody betting on the results this week should be examined by medical professionals (BF?)

The PPR make receivers more valuable. Using PPR Calvin Johnson would have at least 117 points added to his yearly total. I like the field goal scoring method you mention.

Don't forget RB's that catch passes like Sproles...

Is there a way to award PPR points only for receptions that gain yards? I just saw Leshoure catch a pass for -2 yds so he gets .8 out of that. Not sure why any negative play should score points for an offensive player.

I don't think so but I will do some searching.
