IMO I like the idea of being able to do 1 IR if it is legit with a 10 team roster. If we had more teams then no since it is harder to get good players

I am the exact opposite. If this was a 12 team league, then it would be important to be able to stash an injured player instead of taking the chance on losing him. In a 10 team league, it is easier to find a player that won't put up a goose egg so it is less of a problem to risk losing an injured player.

But I really think it is unnecessary to allow the IR concept.

I see your point as far as 12 men Vs 10, But as far as the IR goes if the pros can do it why can we do it?

It's like the DH. It takes out a big piece of the strategy that makes the game interesting.

Here is something I just figured out that maybe everyone else already knows. You never put Thursday night players in at your flex roster spot. Once that game starts they are locked into that roster spot and you lose some of your 'flex'-ability on Sunday. I lost the ability to use a 2nd TE or a 3rd running back long before the Sunday injury status reports were out.

Lawren, you have S. Vereen playing and he is not expected to play for a few weeks his is on IR. Also you have 5 QBs and that will make it tough when trying to make changes for bye weeks.

I reminded Laguna Beach Lawren about that on Monday. She said she had some problems with the website last week. Hopefully she will try again or get one of us to help make changes for her.

I have been having problems making changes AND I keep forgetting the games start so early on Thursdays out here!!! :embarrassed:

I'll work on this when I get home next Wednesday.

I'm sure I can trade a quarterback or 2 that I have for decent players in weaker positions. Eli Manning anyone?

Add the Seahawks to the losing undefeated list, KC won so far thew only undefeated week 5 team waiting to see if Denver does win as well.
