  • I would like to be able to set my line up for the year in advance. I also would like to see Tyler come in last place. From first to last we have seen that happen before and I see it fitting for that now Texan to show us how it is done.

Hey Mike Holmes you have a friend in Texas, How about coming back to FF and show Tyler how to send me some BBQ to my house. I hear he loves that BBQ food there. I miss that free Salt Lick BBQ I used to win off of you.

          • Can we set the trades so that it needs to be overturned by 60% of us or the trade goes threw in two days of the person last accepting ? Or is that not a good idea.. That is how it is done on my Yahoo

I think those rules are ok. The things I was asking about are related only to the keeper rules. The only keeper league I was ever in before allowed you to keep 2 players at any position, forever, and without losing any draft picks. It was a very competitive league, no repeat champs. If someone dropped out, the new person just took over in the same draft spot with the same players. The best part of all of that is that, as commissioner, there is no thinking required, nothing to keep track of, no awkward managing of draft picks in the first two rounds.

This could work if everyone worked together or lived in the same city. But I don't think it would be possible to get 60% to vote on anything online in 2 days. Unless someone is against the trade, it will not be a problem. If it is totally one sided I will call for a vote.

                        • I don't like the idea of keepers not costing a draft pick, the main reason being that everyone who grabbed a bunch of good players at the end of the year then has two of those players as well as their first two picks.

I still think either a snake draft and blind bid waiver system are good options. I would think finishing last and getting the #1 overall pick is enough of a reward but I seem to be in the minority here.

We had a 10 team League last year. I would assume we will remain with 10 teams this year. All owners from last year have 1st choice in getting in for this year. We have 7 owners in from last year so far. Who is Mrs T?

I also think a keeper should cost a draft choice. We can post voting for rule changes after we know what teams are in the League this year. As far as the waiver list, I think the team with the worst record should get their first player and then move to the end of the line.

Mrs T is Tyler. The other two teams would be Al - Beach Bums and Mike.
