My Buddy Heath really won the Super Bowl for the Sea Hawks

Heath won the Superbowl! He called tails and deferred pushing Manning to a safety in record braking fashion to start the bowl.
Heath may have thought it was an honor to shake the hand of the best QB of all time but it ended up for Manning to have the real honor of shaking the hand of a Sea Hawks Captain that brought down the QB legend.

Frank - you were center in my mind when I saw Heath out there for the coin flip. I knew that somewhere in the stadium there was a Queens voice bellowing that I dearly wished the network would have picked up. Hope to see you again sometime during the 2014 season.

I've seem some speculation that this could be Heath's last year with Seattle. In projections as to how the Seahawks can clear salary space to resign Russell Wilson after his rookie contract expires, Heath shows up as someone who might be released to free up cap space.

I spoke to heath last month, He told me last year he was retiring and was going to be a couch for the hawks. I figured he was since he hurt his knee and was operated on. Last month he still was not able to run even walking was pain full. But to my shock they resigned him for 1 more year. I hope he does not get hurt again. He has 2 boys that are just so cute. When I was there I gave his older son a Jets helmet and Jersey which he loved wearing. Now he makes Heath wear it and his son wears the Seahawks helmet.

I was hoping he could get my cousin a try out as a kicker. My cousin can kick 60 yards and was signed by the niners but got hurt before he could play. He plays in the indoor league for Florida but it will not be long till he is in the NFL again..

Well if they reupped him for a year instead of letting him go, that speaks volumes about him as a person and a player. Carroll and Schneider have been very clear about the "type" of player they are looking for and to bring him back means that he fits what they are looking for.

Will you make it back to Seattle this season???
