Mike or anyone,

Could you post the Draft Order for this year? I want to make sure I get it right. I will have the internet connection for the rest of this week. but it is slow.

The Order will be set base on the Final Standings from last year and set as a SNAKE Draft. It is also set as having 3 minutes to make your pick.

Like last year, mshatty's team will have the 10th and 11th pick without any keepers. Because some of us will have keepers he could be drafting as high as number one.

You must mark your keepers before Aug 22. If you do not you have no way to get the players back.

If you keep one player you lose your pick in the 1st round
if you keep two players you lose your picks in the 1st and 2nd round.

Correct me if I'm wrong here guys but if I recall, 6 teams make the playoffs, they were... me, Big Frank, EX Ops, Goose Squad, Beach Bums and Green and Gold. The top 4 finished like...

1. Me
2. Big Frank
3. Ex Ops
4. Goose Squad

Which leaves...

5. Green and Gold
6. Beach Bums (these two player in the 2nd round consolation and Green and Gold won)

The bottom four at the end of the year was...

7. Sack Pack
8. Purple People Eaters
9. MojoRiser
10. Doom

Based on this the draft order should be...
1. MojoRiser
2. Purple People Eaters
3. Sack Pack
4. Beach Bums
5. Green and Gold
6. Goose Squad
7. Ex Ops
8. Big Frank
9. THE Champs
10. mshatty

Just saw your post, the only issue I see is that it doesn't account for playoff performance (e.g. Big Frank who lost in the final, finishing 2nd, had a lower aggregate record than Ex Ops). It's likely just a swap here or there between two people so however you want to do it go ahead!

Since all teams don't play in the playoffs, the teams that don't make the playoffs have no chance to win or lose games for the final standings, therefore, the playoff records don't count in the final standings. The Final Standings are listed on our website. The Final Standings is the only fair way to set the Draft Order.

Scoring for Offensive Categories
FG - Field Goals 3 points
Plus 2 points for a FG of 50+ Yds

FL - Fumble Lost, Including ST plays -2 points
Pa2P - Passing Two-point Conversion 2 points
PaInt - Passing Interception -2 points
PaTD - Passing TD 6 points
PaYd - Passing Yards 0+ PaYds = .1 points for every 3 PaYds

Re2P - Receiving Two-point Conversion 2 points
ReTD - Receiving TD 6 points
ReYd - Receiving Yards 0+ ReYds = .1 points for every 1 ReYd

Ru2P - Rushing Two-point Conversion 2 points
RuTD - Rushing TD 6 points
RuYd - Rushing Yards 0+ RuYds = .1 points for every 1 RuYd

XP - Extra Points 1 point


Scoring for Defensive Categories
DFR - Defensive/ST Fumble Recovered (ID/DT/DST) 2 points
DTD - Total Defensive and Special Teams TD 6 points
Int - Interceptions 2 points
PA - Points Against, Total Points Scored 0 - 6 PA = 8 points
7 - 13 PA = 6 points
14 - 20 PA = 4 points
21 - 27 PA = 2 points

SACK - Sack 1 point
STY - Safety 2 points
YDS - Yards Allowed 0 - 49 YDSs = 12 points
50 - 99 YDSs = 10 points
100 - 149 YDSs = 8 points
150 - 199 YDSs = 6 points
200 - 249 YDSs = 4 points
250 - 299 YDSs = 2 points

"The keeper policy should be:Keep up to 2 players at any position. - only 4 votes on that one, it was 3-1 for the change.

I know there was a poll last year asking if the keeper policy should be changed to allow owners to keep 2 players at the same position and the results where 3 to 1 to change the rule. However the poll is no longer on the CBS website and only 4 voted maybe we should vote on it again. We voted at the beginning of last year and opinions change. I am going to create a new poll about changing the rule. Walt can decide what to do either use the results from last year or the results from this year.
