That was one heck of a stressful game tonight! -
Daniel Murphy really took advantage of the 3rd base steal! I was in the car and listening on the radio and
I just could not figure how he did it! Then on the after game talk on TV the Dodgers were just not on top of the field. All of their players were on the right side of 2nd base. Daniel Murphy caught them sleeping! HA!Flying at MACH4 +Comment

Grenke was 19-0 during season once he had the lead. So when they were up 2-1 and DeGrom was struggling every inning I didn't think the Mets had a chance until Murphy stole third and came in to tie game 2-2 on sac fly. Awesome turn of events and then Murphy hits the home run for the Mets lead, I finally thought they could win. Great pitching by Synedegard and Familia for last 3 innings to close out the game.LARRYComment

I got picked in the random drawing from the Cubs for a chance to buy up to 4 tickets today, and managed to score a pair in the front row of the right center bleachers for game 4, and the upper deck for game 5!

It's funny, when I was in high school and college we used to buy bleacher seats to about 10 games per year, go sit in the front row of left field, and talk with the players during warmups (Roger McDowell from the Phillies was always a blast, joking and playing catch with us). Then suddenly the bleacher tickets became some of the most expensive ones in the park, and we couldn't go quite as often.ScottComment

Last week Family and Friends were at the NLDS against the Dodgers. Due to business commitments I could not attend. As soon as the Mets crushed the Dodgers I got ticket to the 1st and 2nd home Playoff games. Last night and tonight.
What a great night it was last night. We got parking 2 1/2 hours early. Met up with family friends. Had a delicious healthy turkey hero from one of the local vendors 'Mama's of Corona'.
The crowd was totally charged up. Ad hoc chants of "Lets Go Mets" , 2 syllable chants of "HAR VEY, HAR VEY, HAR VEY", followed by "MUR PHY, MUR PHY, MUR PHY"
all night long.
Never been to a post series baseball game until last night. Now I can scratch that off my list!Flying at MACH4 +Comment
