As most know the Ryder Cup is being held just outside Dublin in September . Any thoughts on the merits of either team as yet? ( I know the teams have not been selected as yet ) but I guess 8 or 9 are already known at this stage , Regards from Dublin

What a great event.

When the top 60 PGA golfers all have over 1 million dollars in winning already this year, its great to see them doing something which will not make them money.

To bad it will not include the likes of Els, Goosen and VJ

This will be my third Ryder Cup trip. I've been to the Belfry twice ('93 and 2002). It's a great series as there's no $$ involved. Just the glory !

No, surprisingly all the top players in both US and the world, know that the ryder cup and the presidents cup are a big honor and choose to play even though there is little or no money.
