CBS Sportline Is A Good Site.

You are correct that with a free league you can't customize the basic rules. So I would like to use CBS Sportsline to create a customized league. The cost is $129.00 per league. That cost would be divided by the number of teams we have.

All the stats, scoring, and add/drops would be done by CBS Sportsline The add/drops would be unlimited and free. Sprotsline allows add/drops to start on Tues at 9:00 ET. Trades would need to be approved by the commissioner.

We could set the flex option to WR and TE.

Any ideas on a leauge name, draft date, and draft time?

We have used CBS Sportsline for 2 years and it really works great.

The one rule that we should give some input is "When to set your line up?" I think CBS Sportsline has it set up for 1 hour before the FIRST game or 5 mins before each game.

If it is 1 Hour before the first game, that means the when there is a Thursday game, ( I believe the are several games this year on Thursday.) you must set your line up for Sunday's and Monday's nights games on Thursday. The problem with this is that some players may be injuried and you really will not know until just before game time if that player will be available.

I think the 5 mins. before each game is the fairest way to go.

How does Sept. 5th 8:00 PM Central time look for the draft?

As for a league name they can be formal or nonsense. Here are some suggestions for a name:

Just For Fun
Moms and Pops
The Travelers
Timeshares Are Fun
Have Vacations Will Travel
The Who Cares
The Wisenhimers
Timeshare Fever

Some names may already be taken...do you have any suggestions...I will sign up tonight for a league.

I will need email addresses so I can send invitations to join the league.

My other league just voted in the 5 min rule. It is the pits when you have a backup for a player that can not play because of an injury. But you can not play him because of the 1 hour rule.

Would a 8:00 PM (central time) weekday draft work for everyone or do we need to hold the draft on the weekend?

I was thinking if anyone on the west coasts joins it would be 6:00 their time. If they work a 9-5 job it might be tough for them to start any early. Lets see who signs up.

Ok you have our Blessings if you want to use TS4ms but keep in mind that if you should strike it rich that that logo belongs to this site as it will soon be or already is incorperated here .
