Guess I'm finished for the season ~~ Almost all I the teams I'ved played so far ~~ not countin the two wins I have ~~ with the help of Len ~~ All their "reserves" have almost beat me ~~ Seems like all the good players are on a couple of teams or more ~~ Their reserves get more points than I do ~~

Don't give up just yet, I know in my case right now Injuries to key players are putting a hurting on me. I am sure the rest of the gang has the same issues. The 2nd half could be your half if this keeps up. All 3 of my RB are hurt and just barely playing. 3 WR are also playing hurt along with my TE and QB. I think Berrian was taken out yesterday in the first quarter and only gave me 1 point. I have no idea if he is coming back yet. Coles who exploded in the beginning has died down now.

Drop/Add question

Are drop/adds still allowed once the playoffs start? In every league I've ever been in drop/adds end with the regular season but I don't see that written on the rules page.

If that's the case then you can make the play offs and you may not have any players on your team if your players did not make the play offs.

BTW did you guys see that Nut Shot at the end of today's game. They should fine and Suspend him for that knee to the balls.

Our playoffs are during the last 3 weeks of the regular season so this should not be an issue. But we do need an answer from our esteemed commissioner.

Also, a reminder, the trade deadline is coming up next week, 11/14/06 I think.

All transactions must be made by November 30 before the Thursday night game (which is week 13, the last week of our regular season)


There will be 2 playoffs. One will be for the championship and the other will be for the toilet bowl (total points will be used a tie breaker).

Championship playoff

Week 14
1st and 2nd place teams will have a bye
3rd place vs 6th place
4th pace vs 5th place

Week 15
1st place plays 4th or 5th place
2nd place plays 3rd or 6th place

Week 16
Championsip game


The Toilet Bowl

Week 14
7th place vs 10th place
8th pace vs 9th place

Week 15
The winners of week 14 play for the Toilet Bowl

The Giants are pretty banged up. I would hesitate to play any of them against the Monsters of the Midway. Particularly since they lost to the Dolphins last week. This weekend will clearly be a classic defensive brawl.

OK we are on but I rather give you a good cigar that I have here in my house rather than go buy those hard to find boxed press La Flors. We will take the points spread in on game day.
