There was nothing going on between us and no matter how you look at it. We are out of it. The only chance I have is if I score 150 points and the other guys lose and score like 60 points.

and I'm sorry Trev if I mis-interpeted what you did with your line-up. HONEST! I will not beg you to play with us.

I've lost 2 weeks straight and might maybe make the playoffs. Why my team <which has been short a decent WR all season> has collapsed I don't know but I continue my legacy of doing well all season and collapsing in play-offs continues.

Tomorrow will be the last day to do any add drops so you should check to see if you have backup players at all positions. Some of you only have 1 TE or 1 kicker. You wouldn't want an injury to prevent you from starting 9 players. I needed to add a kicker.

How should we set The Conch Man line up? There use to be an option to let CBS set the line up but I can't find it. The Conch Man's team could be playing for the next 3 three weeks. Or should we just leave the roster alone?

This situation has put a little damper on the ending of the season and that is to bad.

I just saw that option. Go to team/line-up there should be a link for "top line-up" on that page.

Nope 40 points sitting on Reserves. If I would have started him and Cothery and Miller. I MIGHT HAVE HAD ENOUGH POINTS to make THE PLAY OFFS.

What Would Your Record Be?

After 12 games, my record is 6-6. I went back and looked at my record and found out that if I had played the "right players on my team" my record would have been 8-4.


I can only control which players to play. I also assumed that the other team players remained the same.

I started out with 4 wins. Week #5 Big Frank beat me and there was no players on my reserve list with enough points to win. Week #6 I only needed to play L. Smith at TE instead to A. Crumpler in order to win. In weeks # 8 and #9 there was not enough points in my reserve list. Week # 11 I could have won by playing P. Rivers, M. Barber, and L. Smith. In week #12, I could have gotten within .1 point of winning.

So my record could have been 8-4. Of course, I'm sure I have won games because the other team picked the wrong players to start.

It is also interesting to see if Minisota Vikin's played the right players this week against Big Frank, the Vikin's would have another win.

Just like the NFL, that is why they play the game. Anyone can beat anyone with a little Luck.

I think the Jets are like the Colts, one week good for R Wayne, the next for M Harrison. One week good for L Coles, next week good for Crotchery. Plus I got sucked in and started Matt Leinart thinking that the Cardinals couldn't run. Of course Ederin James has his best game of the year and Leinart doesn't pass as much.

Sometimes It Helps To Look At the Defense

I will look at the the player's match up. If a player is a good running back but is playing against a very strong run defense, I will play my 3rd running back that is playing against a defense that has a poor run defense.

Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't. Like in my other league, I have E. James and F. Gore as my starters. I could also have played M. Barber.

E. James was playing against a team that has a poor run defense. So I played E. James and got 16 points because of a 5 point bonus for going over 100 yards.

F. Gore should have had a good game but the NO offense scored 34 points and took Gore's running out of the game. Gore gave me 6.

M. Barber would have given me 19 points.

You just never can tell who will play well week to week.

You're right. It's sure not like shooting fish in a barrel. I don't understand why the players I pick don't understand they are supposed to have lots of yards and lots of scoring!

PS. This week I am playing the Green and Gold. Mike's WR are NO's T. Copper "0" points, GB's G. Jennings "1.4" points, and Denver's J. Walker "1.7" points. I had the 3 same players in my other league. And of course, I didn't play D. Mason "15" points because I also had NO's M. Colston who didn't play but was going to play.
