The draft start time is

9:00 PM Eastern Time
8:00 PM Central Time
7:00 PM Western Time

Here is a link to get to CBS SportsLine. Once you are there you will need to login to your account using the user name and password you created. Then if you look at the left side of the screen you will see a menu with the following. Click on the Draft Room link.

Frank I can come up with a list the teams and players.

Anyone from our league can get the weekly stats, wavier wire info, season records and much more on CBS. I think it would be much better to use CBS for things such as that. I will try to post some information about the live updates.


As far as a kitty goes I am up for just about anything. However some people joined the league with the understanding there wouldn't be any other costs.

The draft was fun and very interesting on who picked who and when.

For the team owners that have not played on the CBS Web Site, there is as much information as you want to get on this site.

The most important information is under the Heading Players. Go to players and there is this list you will see:

Latest News
· Free Agents
· Roster Trends
· Player Search
· Compare
· Depth Charts

Hit Latest News:

This tells you who is injuried. Who is a hot player. Who is a cold player.

Another important place to check out is the Transaction Heading. Players on other teams become available to you when they are dropped by the other team.

Also you want to check the Free agents list during the season.

Mike, how have you set up picking up free agents? Does team records count? What day can you pick them up? Is the pickup of free agents closed 1 hour before the first game?

And you also want to check out the Injury List Heading.

The site is also fun to watch during games because your points are recorded within a few minutes of when it happens.

Check out under Scoreboard: PREVIEW: If your team shows no points your line up is not legal and your lose.

And most important set your line up NOW. You can always change your with in 5 minutes of that player's game. But if your line up is not legal, you lose.

You also want to check the NFL Team Depth Charts for your players. ( ou can find it on the league web site.) If he is not a starter, you may not get many points out of him.


In general, get on the league web site and spend some time looking around.

Great post Walt.

FA can be picked up on Tues. morning at 9:00 ET. I have been in leagues where picking up FA was first come first serve. I don't like that system. It is unfair to those who don't have access to a computer at that time. I will check in to awarding FA base on record. I don't know how that works.

As far as a kitty goes maybe we can throw in some TS4MS points in to a pot. If we could put in 3000 to 5000 points a piece and divide the winning between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place at the end of the year. We could also have a toilet bowl so everyone has a chance to win something. We could also have weekly winners.
