Guru sets the points for the players.

I love this thing. I just checked the CBS home page. I am a 5 point underdog against my friend Jimmy on the marque.
How can I be an underdog if no one has played yet?

I think Guru is someone that gives each player what he things that person will score for that week. Sometimes he or she is within 2 or 3 points of the Preview totals.

Most of the time Guru is off by 10 to 15 points either way. It gives you an idea who to start, but you need to use your own judgement on your active players.

There is skill and Luck involved in Football. You may play a team were an average player has his best game of the year and score 30 plus points. And this great game might come after a week were he scored 2 points. You just never know. This is why it is fun to play Fantasy Football.

It is really hard to lose a game by a point or two when you high scorer for your team is on your reserve list. But it will happen sometimes.

Mike, are you using the Reserve's total points as a tie breaker?

As far as a kitty goes maybe we can throw in some TS4MS points in to a pot. If we could put in 1000 to 5000 points a piece and divide the winning between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place at the end of the year. We could have a toilet bowl bracket so everyone has a chance to win something. We could also have a weekly winner for most points scored. Any thought or opinions?

Walt, I don't think there will be any ties. We are using .1 of a point for rushing, receiving, and passing yards.

Packers Vs the Jets

Frank, Dec 3rd the Jets come to the frozen tundra. I am looking forward to seeing the Jets play this season. I don't think they have many nationally televised games. Those game are reserved for the better teams.

Scoreboard and GameCenter

Even If you do not have players for tonights game, you can see how the scoring works by going to the Fantasy Football web site. Go to Scoreboard and click on GameCenter. As your players score points, the computer will update about every 2 minutes. You do not have to do anything.
