  • Angels can win the West with a 10 game streak

If the Angels can win their last 10 games, they will win the AL west. This is possible because Oakland plays 7 of their last 10 against the Angels. So even if Oakland can win their 3 games against Seattle (they have a 13 game win streak now against the M's), they'll be one short of the Angels.

Of course, all Oakland has to do is win one game against the Angels to push the race into a tie.

Sorry, Bill. I think you better hope for a wild-card bid instead.....

Actually, the Angels have a better chance of winning the division than they do the wild card.

Nevertheless, if the Angels were pasta, they would be on their way back to the kitchen. Come to think of it, though, overcooked pasta what most of the Angels bats have looked like this year.

It isn't looking good at all......except for speculating what big bat we may bring in for next year.

Actually the magic number today for the A's is 2 (it was 4 last night before they beat the Angels)...they have not clinched it yet.....so if the Angels can beat Oakland every game from here on and the Mariners can beat Oakland at least two out of three then we have a shot......not likely.

No matter who makes the playoffs......please just beat the Yankees and the Mets.

Angels are now formally eliminated from the Wild Card....our only hope is to win all our remaining games and to hope that the Mariners can turn it around against Oakland.....Seattle is going to start a rookie tonight, Cesar Jimenez, who has no victories and an 18.90 ERA.....yikes so much for that plan....I truely wish him (and us) luck.

With one win the A's will secure at least a tie.

I need to look at the upside....hopefully the Angels won't fool themselves into thinking our line-up is enought to get it done...that was painfully obvious at last years ALCS.....and oh the money and time I will be saving without an Angel post season.

You're pinning your hopes on the Mariners sweeping Oakland??

Why don't you hope for something more realistic, such as RCI announcing that it will immediately stop renting excess inventory through outside channels.

                  4ARedOctober,
You do understand I'm not rooting for the Angels but against the A's who I hate. The A's have won 13 in a row against the M's, so don't count on our help this week.

Oh yeah I knew that.....an M's fan....you have made it very clear in the past.

Oh well.....congrats to the A's.......not sure how far they will make it.

I am sorry we did not keep the LA Dodgers out of the playoffs.

LA Dodgers and San Diego go luck in the playoff. What happen to those Giants?

I went on vacation and the Giants went down hill fast
I am hoping next year we some players have a younger team.

The Angels end up with a better record than both the playoff bound Dodgers and Padres.

Better luck next year!! To us all.
