IMO I think the Mets Have the best team they have had in years. But those Yankee bats are hard to beat. It's a toss up for me but I would like to see a subway series and this time the Mets pull off the win.

I voted for the Cardinals because we beat them in '04 and they were very gracious and the fans were classy.
My second choice would be the A's.
Of course, anyone who plays and beats the NYY is tops with me.
I liked the Mets once and was a fan of "Le Grand Orange" (Staub). They beat Boston big-time and they deserved it.

Go Cardinals.......notice how no one picked the Tigers in this poll....after the way they finished their season. The Cards have a chance if the Tiger post season machine got rusty with that long wait.....if the Tigers keep their mo then it will likely be a short series.

In the AL, we non-NYers and non-playoff teams were blinded by the media being enamoured with Steinbrenner's money (except of course for Beags) and picked the Yankees.
