Well it is do or die game 7 for the Amazing's. I was there for the 86 world series and was at a play off game at the 69 one. I will not be there this time around unless someone likes me enough to send tickets my way.
Not gonna happen but you never know.

Let's go Mets! I remember watching the 69 series on an old black and white. During the last games (day games) they set up tv sets in the gym at school and let us kids watch them. It was great.

I was 8 and a half when I went to the play offs of 69. One of My best friends who lived on my block went to the series. He was one of those guys that jumped on the field at the end of the game and stole the grass. Believe it or not he still has the grass in a sealed glass box.

Cleon Jones, Tommy Agee, Rusty Staub, Bud Harrelson, Tom Seaver, Jerry Grote. They were great.

Yes he was. In fact he was my favorite player at that time.
