As we're being led to our seats, DH says, "did you see who you just walked by ?" "Huh?", was my snappy reply. Drum roll please.........................
"David Ortiz". Yes, Big Papi was about 10 feet away at a table with six others including Ming Tsai (who would get up frequently to keep things humming in the dining room and kitchen).
I, of course, walked to the ladies' room so I could just walk by his table again and again. He looked up once. Smitten, no doubt.
He had the mixed sorbet for dessert.
