    Bosox on a spending spree

    Good luck with Drew.....he has never really impressed me. I hope you bought hang nail insurance. The guy is always crying about some little thing.

    those who say they're experts are predicting that within the next few days Manny will sign with the Sox and all will be well in Boston. Apparently his wife is liking it there and is reluctant to move...Peter Gammon, among others, feels certain that he's not going anywhere....we'll see...

      My understanding is that Manny is already signed with the Sox.....it is a question of if he will be traded or not. Is that not right?

          Has Drew been signed yet? I heard the numbers were being re-negotiated after a questionable physical. JD puts up good numbers but after seeing him play for the Dodgers the last few years, he doesn't usually hit well in the clutch, and doesn't dive after many balls in the outfield. I don't think Boston fans will have much patience with him.

            I agree...I think RSN will have this guy for lunch. I think he is still pending the physical(s). It will be interesting either way. I am glad the bosox are throwing money around like drunken Yankees.
