  • The Aint's They Aren't

In order to maintain any amount of interest in the NFL this year I find it necessary to replace my hometeam, the hapless Chiefs, now that they are playing Herm-ball, a style of football similar to the Marty-ball the Chiefs played for many years. Herm's game plan was to balance the offense with the defense, so that the Chiefs would not ever get big chunks of yardage and they would not score too fast. He has accomplished that in one season, with the offense now playing just like the defense.

So I will go with the totally revamped Saints. It could be they have all the right pieces in place this year.

And no one is more deserving.

It was sure good to see them kick the Cowboy's around last night. But, then I cheer for whoever is playing them

And the Aints are much more fun to watch!

The Chiefs have a great quarterback. It's too bad he got hurt so badly in the first game. But I think you would have had Herm ball no matter.

      Go Saints!

Yeah, what a fun team to watch. I loved that 61 yard touchdown run from Reggie Bush.

I hope they don't blow their chance to win their very first playoff game this year.

Bush is on my Fantasy team. I have kept him on reserve all year. The last two games he finally woke up or maybe there finally given him a chance with the ball. It's time to start playing him just not sure who to sit in his reserve place, Tikki or Fred Taylor who are both good players.

            Let the good times roll

Since they got Reggie Bush from USC and with the aftermath of Katrina I have been cheering on the Saints for the NFC. My AFC team, da Raiders (we got Brooks from the aints), is fighting for the bottom......so I am hoping for the Saints to take it all!!!!

My Dad has been a Saints fan since they became a franchise. He has been disappointed for as long as I can remember. For his sake, I would be satisfied if they won their first playoff game.

From my understanding. In order to keep the Saints in Nola they had to do something they have not done before. Sell out and full attendance. They have done that now but had not done that in years. In fact one time when I was in Nola There were play off tickets still available a day before and they did not even come close to selling out for that play off game. I hope to see them make it, They deserve it.

A few years back I stayed over in Indy after a show there Thanksgiving weekend. They had a Sunday night game in their big gym and I just went down and got a nice 50-yard-line seat.

As a long-time Chiefs tailgater I was amazed at how indifferent the crowd was. It was just a social event with very few watching the game. St. Louis has been that kind of place, too.
