I received this email from CBS Sportsline about renewing our Fantasy Football League for next year.

IMPORTANT: The Purchaser of Your League is Entitled to Either a 50% Discount Toward 2007 Renewal of ts4ms Football Commissioner OR a 25% Rebate on the 2006 League

    Dear Mike Holmes,
This season CBS SportsLine dedicated much of our attention to fixing quality of service issues that affected many of our 2006 Fantasy Football Commissioner leagues during peak traffic periods on NFL Sundays. We are now confident that those issues are behind us and excited that the steps we took this year will ensure a great experience for your league in 2007.
We eagerly anticipate serving TS4MS Fantasy Football needs again in 2007, and as an expression of apology for any quality of service issues that you may have encountered, the purchaser of your league may select either a 50% discount toward 2007 renewal of ts4ms Football Commissioner OR a 25% rebate on the league 2006 Football Commissioner purchase.
The deadline for the selection is 11:59 PM ET on December 31, 2006.
Click here to find out more.
Check out the FAQ and read the Terms & Conditions. We look forward to serving you again in 2007. Thank you for playing Fantasy Sports at CBS SportsLine.

I believe we had a vote on CBS allready about doing it again next year. The only question is where are we going. With the 50% off next year I would take that it that we will be going back to CBS.

BTW Mike I sent you payment from me and Viking boy as well as an email to confirm payment. I have not heard from you. Did you get it or did I pay the wrong person.

I will sign us up for next year unless I hear from others to the contrary. It has been fun.

Thanks Mike for getting the League started!

It was a fun year and I enjoyed playing in a 10 team league. With a 10 team league there are players on the Wavier List that can help most teams. The Wavier List came in handy with all of the injuries my players had this year.

We had a team meeting and the team voted Shaun Alexander as the Sack Pack's MDP (Most Disappointing Player) for 2006 with TE Alge Crumpler finishing in second place. Crumpler didn't get the award because in week # 7 his 29.7 points were the reason that Hangers got it's second defeat.

Brett Favre was the team's Co-MVP along with DD (Donald Driver). Non of my Rookies had enough playing minutes to win the best Rookie Award.

The Sack Pack has also fired the team's GM and Draft Guru for making Shaun Alexander their Number One choice in the draft, while passing over LT and Larry Johnson.

The Sack Pack's coach would have gotten fired for playing Marion Barber (0 points and 2 carries) in it's last game instead of Willis McGahee (18.5 points) costing them a spot in the semi-finals. However, the Sack pack management felt that the real problem was with the Cowboy's Big Tuna. He should be playing Marion Barber as the starter over J. Jones. Had he done so, just maybe, he could have kept the ball away from Drew Brees and gotten a victory instead of a defeat.

                Very funny!

You're right about the Big Tuna and Marion Barber. I have Julius Jones and had quit using him because of Barber getting more carries and getting ALL of the carries near the goal line. Jones and Barber were just like Tiki Barbar and Brandon Edwards for the Gaints. Jones and T Barber carry the ball down to the goal line. In comes M Barber and Edwards, TD!

If Mike can do a final week matchup after the playoffs, I would like to do that too. I have paid attention to more NFL teams this year by doing this than I have in many many years.

                  Interested!

If you all decide to go to a 12 team league next year or if someone drops out I would be interested in joining.

I will assume you mean Brandon Jacobs of the Giants?

Yes I've had a lot of fun this year although <as promised> I sputtered at the end. A just for fun week 16 would be great!

Mike I say let's do it again and if the fees are 50% less we can deal with CBS's little strangnesses. They do have some options I like much better than Yahoo.

Brandon Edwards, Brandon Jacobs. Mish Mash.

Either way, the guy scored all of the TD's and T Barber was on the sideline.

Yeah I know. I'm trying to remember who asked me who it was I was drafting that night.

Do you think the Big Tuna will start Barber Now?

The Big Tuna started J. Jones again and he had great numbers for the first half of the game of 26 yards on 13 carries and no TDs. That's 2.6 FF points

The Cowboys were behind when the Big Tuna gave the ball to Marion Barber. Marion finished with 69 yards on 11 carries, 27 receiving yards and 2 TDs. That 21.6 FF points. And the Cowboys won 38 to 28.

Just give the ball to Marion Barber 20 to 30 times a game and forget about starting J. Jones.

I had Jones and Marion Barber last year in my other league. Who do play? Another player on another team that is a starting Running Back is your best choice. Otherwise you get "0 points" one week and "20 points" the next week.

                            Walt,

J Jones finished with 2.6 points. Fortunately, I didn't start him. Probably the only good decision I made this week.

Looking at the poll results we will be signing up with CBS for next year.

Thanks MS for starting the poll. It helps to gives everyone a chance for input which is good for our league.

Can we let this thread drift off into the archives and do all of are postings in the other thread now that this one has served it purpose.
