Phew, made it through that round!!

BLUKA, do tell. I lived in Edmonton during the reign of the Oilers - they truly were the "Royal Family" of the city.

Feeling much better tonight - after a rough first period, the Canucks came on strong - on to Anaheim on Wednesday!!

And the Canucks got the split in Anaheim. Still not convinced they'll win but we're keeping the faith.

My sister-in-law, not a hockey fan, said she knew the Canucks had won last night. At eleven o'clock cars honking, people hooping and hollering. It's a huge love-in right now for The Team.

            GO Ducks!!!!!!!!!!

On to the Western Conference Finals....yeah baby

The Red Wings or the Sharks will be an exciting and tough series. But we are happy to not have to face Roberto Luongo...that guy is totally awesome...A WALL.

He's pretty much all anybody's talking about up here. The rest of the team just didn't have anything left on Thursday's game. Lots of talk about maybe trading Naslund (although nobody will take his $6 mil salary based on his performance). Trevor Linden is another hero here, he played really well in the playoffs.

Well, as we Canuck fans have been saying for over 30 years, "There's always next year."

Now I'm hoping the Ottawa Senators do well - the only team north of the 49th left.

Well, after a quick start by my beloved sabres (and a week long battle myself with food poisoning ) the rangers gave a good battle but just could not find a way to beat Ryan Miller and the gang.
A great game today clinched it for Buffalo 5-4 to take the series 4 games to 2.
                Up next ottawa. GO SABRES

I think that the canadian teams have had their fare share of championships.
                    how about sharing the wealth?

Go Sens! Gotta go with the last Cdn team. Besides, they're overdue.

Hmm, the Senators started playing in 1992. The Canucks started playing in 1970. Not that I'm bitter, but who's overdue?

And we only really care about the Stanley Cup, we're not that greedy up here.

Well I kind of had my fingers crossed from the start. No More Rangers.

HEY! lets not give up on this thread yet! I'll hang in as long as my SABRES do
They did tonight winning 3-2, to put the series at 3 games to 1.
It seems that about every 33 years or so a playoff team comes back to win a series after being down 3 games to 0 so anything can happen right?

Can you believe they suspended Pronger???? That was a clean hit. What a bunch of BS.

Toronto is just a little too close to Detroit for my liking
