  • Baseball and your team?

So, now that the Baseball season has started, how do feel about your favorite team?

My team is the Milwaukee Brewers and I feel the Brewers will have a winning season (over .500) for the first time since 1992 when they were 92-70.

D***, that a long time ago!

No surprise here, this should be very interesting now that we have someone in the bull pen. Most of the 100 Million paid for him is reported as coming back in overseas revenues (broadcast rights, Dice-KK merchandise, etc.) to the BoSox.
I absolutely love my Sox. Have so since I was small, however, I would also be happy to the Cubbies take it this year. Like us, they've suffered throughout the years.

Angels have had it rough so far ....and our players are dropping like flies. Not looking good now but it is still early.

Another diehard Red Sox fan...and proud of it! Beags, we have tickets to see the Cubbies when they are in Atlanta...should be fun. And of course we'll see our Sox in Tampa. Woohoo!

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

KC Royals and we SUCK. Maybe with a new GM in place, a couple of more years and a positive coaching change we might get a winning team back but owner David Glass just isn't a baseball man.

Seattle Mariners and we all are holding our breath with our Superstar pitcher ( at least so far) with a hurting elbow. He was unhittable in his first 2 starts but left in the first inning last night with a sore elbow. We were counting on him alone to be >15 games over 500, which might make the team competitive. With him gone we'll be lucky to be 5-10 games under 500.

                      World Champion Cardinals fan here

The St. Louis Cardinals are my team. They could be really good or they could be average. Seems like besides Chris Duncan, no one can hit in our outfield, Cards wont repeat as World Series champs without more run scoring. Im not greedy, it was fun while it lasted. Go RAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                        In case You Missed It.

The Brewers are in first place with a record of 21-10. This is the best record in the Majors today.

I was at the game yesterday. I wonder why the Pirates catcher, Ryan Doumit, didn't try to block the plate when Prince Fielder went from 2nd to home on a single by Bill Hall with the winning run.

Could it be that Prince is over 260 pounds of muscle and runs like a Fullback?

The Brewers have been known to fade in the past. This year they seem to have the players that will not allow that to happen.

Thanks Yankees, for picking up the "Rocket." Better you than Houston.

                          Walt,

If Roger had signed with Houston, it would have been the same ol same ol. Roger holds the other team to 1 or 2 runs, Houston scores 0.

He should have gone to Boston.

                            Another Cards Fan!

I love the Cards! This season isn't shaping up so well. I blame it on the Kansas City Royals junk that I got at the annual white elephant Christmas Party gift exchange where I work.
Thanks to my sister, we own a leg lamp.
