How Do You Like Your Team Now?
Now that we are nearing the half way point of the baseball season, how do you like your team now?
The Brewers are in first place by 7 1/2 over the Cubs. This week end the Brewers and the Cubs are playing a 3 game series with both teams playing good baseball. It should be a great series.
Even if the Brewers were not in first place I would be excited about the Brewers. They have some young players playing great baseball with a good mix of older Vets.
Prince Fielder just hit his league leading 27th home run. JJ hardy hit his 18 home run, which leads the Short Stops. Ryan Braun joined the team about a month ago and is hitting .327 with 5 home runs. Ben Sheets won his 9 game. Cordero has been a top closer with 27 saves. Hart is a lead off batter that is hitting .314 with 10 home runs that is 6' 5" tall with great speed. When the Brewers added rookie pitcher Gallardo to their lineup, the Brewers created a problem with now having 7 starting pitchers. What other team has that problem?
It has been a fun year.
