Hi Lawren,

It would be nice to add a few more teams. There were others that expressed an interest last year and this year. We should definitely keep it an even number of teams in the league to prevent byes.

When are you leaaving?

I thought there were new members that expressed interest in joining this year?

I was in the league last year [Trails2You 12-5 on the season] and as much as I love the NFL and enjoyed our initial FF season - I am going to pass on it this year. I tend to get too absorbed in it and by the end of the season I find it a relief to get an extra day of the week to devote to something other than watching NFL games. Although I'm sure I'll be watching my share of games this year - it won't be with the attention to the FF detail. Anyway, good luck to all and I will watch the standings to see how everyone is doing

The day before the season starts might not work for me, as I help with a couple of live drafts in my town (the men can't seem to run it on their own!
Usually one draft is on a Tuesday before the season begins, and the other the following night (Wednesday). It's possible I could take my laptop and draft while running the real league draft, but it might be difficult.

I will keep checking in here for updates.

Also, have you ever tried Yahoo as a host? Their league hosting is free for the most part. I used to run the guys' leagues on Sportsline back when it was free, but left when they started to charge. There is a way to set up a Yahoo league with a password given only to invited members. The local leagues actually use a couple of other sites because their point system and schedule are so complicated, but I've been impressed with Yahoo and compete in a few of their leagues every year.

Things sure have changed since we first became involved in fantasy football. My husband drafted Jerry Rice as a rookie! There wasn't any information available way back in the early 80s, Al Gore hadn't invented the Internet, there were no fantasy magazines (and we had to explain to people what fantasy football was; it sounded so dirty! LOL). It's one of the few hobbies for us that has been a constant year after year.

The draft will be Wednesday, September 5th 8:00 PM ET.

OK this is how it is shaking out.

I am not sure Trevor is in. If he is not we need one more person to make an even number to prevent byes.

If our new members will PM me your email address we can get the ball rolling to get you in the TS4MS Fantasy Football League.

You will get an email, from CBS Sports Online, inviting you to join the TS4MS FFL. In the email there will be a link for you click on. Once you do that it will take you to the CBS Sport Online website and then you will have to create a CBS Sport Online account. Then you can create a team name and explore the site.

I can't keep the names of the members in our FFL and the TS4MS board straight in my mind. Between the TS4MS board and FFL some of us have 3 names as an example: I am Thirsty, Mike Drinkwater, and Green and Gold. So on the FFL site we can put all the names on one page. To do so go to options and then personal. There you can add or edit personal information. So if you would please put your TS4MS board name in the field for a telephone number it would be helpful for me and I think for others.

When everyone has an account setup we will set the draft order. The draft will be Wednesday, September 5th 8:00 PM ET.

If I have made any mistakes in the numbers and names for the leauge let me know.

I appreciate that you allowed me to join in, but I'm afraid I am going to have to bow out due to the draft day scheduling conflict I mentioned in my post above. I will be helping to run a live draft that night in my town (and, knowing that league as I do, I think I'm the only one there who will be able to spell "Houshmandzadeh", plus know his position and where he plays, LOL.). The previous night I will be drafting a team of my own in a different local league. The days leading up to the first game are always pretty jam-packed with drafts, but I realize that the rosters are getting finalized up to that point. I wish the NFL didn't have a Thursday night season kickoff!

More than ready!

Wazz one of the best years I had ever in Fantasy Football was when I let the computer draft for me. I was Aruba for draft day. Think about it.

From the Commish on the CBS Sportsline web site you list the day of the draft as Wednesday, September 9. I think you mean September 5.
