How about Jon Kitna in round 5 and Romo in round 8

That's it rub it in. Don't you feel a tiny bit guilty about having Romo as your QB????? Especially when he just beat your Packers????

It isn't like I expected Romo to be so good. I picked Jon Kitna in round 5 and Romo in round 8. Hell, I even picked Reggie Brown (WR Phil) in round 7 ahead of Romo.

I picked Romo because he was from Wisconsin.

While the Pack lost to the Cowboys and Romo again in Dallas, I will always be a Packers Fan first.

There really is something wrong with the schedule makers. How many times have Dallas played in Wisconsin vs the number of times that the Packers have played in Dallas? It's like the schedule makers are afraid to subject the Cowboys to another Ice Bowl Game.


By the way, I really was at the Ice Bowl Game.

Today would have been a good day to play a game in Green Bay.

Snow...heavy at times...changing to sleet and freezing rain during the evening...then drizzle or light freezing drizzle after midnight. 2 to 4 inches of accumulation expected...bringing the total accumulation to 4 to 7 inches. Lows in the upper 20s. Southeast wind 15 to 25 mph.

I don't know how it happened but the spread went for me giving you 18 points to you giving me 6 points. I guess it factered in Farves not producing. Either way you still have 18 points.

Didn't Romo play college ball at Eastern Illinois? My dad lives in Charleston IL where EIU is located. I usually get up there at least once a year.

How old were you during the Ice Bowl? I remember it is as young boy. My heart was broken being a Cowboys fan.

This is the last regular week of the season for your league. Next week starts the playoff and they are as follows. The top 6 teams play in the championship bracket and the other 4 teams play in the toilet bowl bracket.

The championship bracket would be
1 vs 6
2 vs 5
3 vs 4

Toilet bowl bracket would be

7 vs 10
8 vs 9

If we used week 12 standing to set the playoff brackets they would look like this.

Championship bracket

1. Doom vs Pelikens
2. Purple People Eaters vs Green and Gold
3. Bigfrank vs Beach Bum

Toilet Bowl bracket

1. Sack Pack vs EXOPS
2. Rusty Patriots vs Hangers

There are three teams tied with a winning percentage of .500 Green and Gold, Pelikens, & Sack Pack. So a head-to- head tie-breaker will be used to break the tie. The tie breaker results are.

Green and Gold .667%
Pelicans .500%
Sack Pack .333%

I hope I have made the right calculations. Please feel free to double check my work.

Draft order for next year

What are the opinions about changing the way the draft order is decided? Last year and this year the draft order was set by the CBS website using the set random draft option. Maybe we should use the season win and lose records from this year to determine the draft order for next year just like the pros.

I actually disagree with this. It works in the pros because they still have their team from the prior year. They just draft rookies.

To make it work in fantasy, you should have a keeper league. Everyone keeps, "X" amount of players. "X" amount would need to be decided upon. CBS does track keeper leagues, just switch the option on in commisioner options.

But either way we decide is fine.

Sorry about not being able to ship any beer but I did send some cheese spreads from Swiss Colony.

I haven't given up on being able to ship beer. I talked th someone at UPS and they said it is doable. I will get it figured out before next year.

Rome played at Eastern Illinois and at Burlington High School. Burlington is a small town of about 10,000 people. It is known for it's ChocolateFest.

I was 27 years old during the Ice Bowl. Our seats were almost to the top row and in the North west corner of the North end zone. The North end Zone was open at that time (No end zone seats). The winning TD was scored in the South Ends Zone.
