  • Hey Faust - Should I bring my broom ?

I'll be at Fenway this afternoon for the game. Wakefield is pitching. It was a thing of beauty seeing Dice-K strike out Barroid Bonds yesterday.

    Nope you won’t need it.
Matt Morris is pitching today for the Giants
    Have fun at Fenway .

Now that I've opened my big yap, I've probably cursed the Sox.

This should be a fun game. They're letting fathers and their children walk the playing field after the game.

Oh, two Boston DJs are playing: (to the tune of the Coasters' Charley Brown):
"Fee fee fi fi fo fo fum,
Who sticks steroids in his bum ?
Barry Bonds, that Barry Bonds..." I could finish, but it only get worse.

          You're on.

Would you like to make it simpler and just hand them over now ?

Better yet, if the Sox lose, I'll give you a thousand, just because it looks like you could sure use some points

Gotta go and get to the Holy Palace of Baseball.

          See ya.

Just back from the Holy Palace of Sacred Baseball. What can I say ?

Actually, a good-natured SF Giants fan said this out loud as we were all headed home (really, he said this, made us all laugh) "$510 to change my plane ticket, $150 for a scalped ticket, watching the Giants get swept, priceless".

Did get to see Bonds hit one into the right outfield and beyond. Saw Manny hit one over the left field green monster.

The funniest part is that when Bonds gets to bat, everyone boos. When the much-loved Davie Roberts got to bat, he got a standing-o !

Hey Faust, would you like to double or nothing it for the next time we meet?

                  B.

It was worth every point to know Barry Bonds hit a home run 748 in Fenway Park.

Since the Red Sox and the Giants aren’t playing each other the rest of the season, we’ll just take care of this now and deal with the next game when it comes up.

Watched the game from a little bar we found not too far from Boston Common. It's celebrating its 100th birthday this week. 10 cent wings all day!

Anyway, we really enjoyed watching the game. Yay, Sox are winning again!

Congrats on your bet Beags! I hope you had a great trip to London.

                          Everyone,
Mr. Faust is not only a gentleman, he is a man of his word. He did fork over the 1,000 points thanks to Ken/Quarterbore's "practical magic" in doing the transfer.
Maybe I'lll donate them to the Giants' payroll for a new pitcher................

                          Thanks Faust, it was fun.

                          B.

Pitching is not our problem, were just not hitting that will.
You can give us A-ROD and you can keep the points.

                            Yes it was fun.

You can have A-Hole anytime, anywhere............. but, I don't think that BigFrank will give him up.
On my desk I have those great photos of Captain Varitek's glove in his face and Bronson Arroyo staring at him after he slapped the ball out of Arroyo's glove. No thank you, don't want him even if he bats .400 and surpasses the Ted Williams' record.
Who needs him ? Not us.
                              Thanks again,
