Sherry Martel dead at 48

Didn't know where to post this as wrestling is not a "true sport" but I had the pleasure of meeting Sherry a couple of years ago at a legends wrestling match. For some reason we hit it off and I had a few beers with Sherry & Greg Valentine and she was really really nice, not the persona she portrayed. She was called Scary Sherry /Sensational Sherry etc. I also hung out with her in her booth while Kelli stood in line getting autographs. I watched in amazement while she took little 3 to 6 yr old girls and talked to them as little adults and had her pics made with them. She was not active in wrestling anymore and I don't know what she died of. Just thought I'd share a little memory. Shaggy

i did not remember who Sherry Martel was until you mentioned Scary Sherry.
Any pics of her? Anyone know what she died of?

They have a tribute on youtube allready. She died at a young age.

I found out that she did not die of natural causes. She died at her mothers house in Alabama and that there were police cars everywhere. Guess we will know soon enough.
