Cy Young Winner

What a game!!!! Is there any question that Josh Beckett should be the American Leagues Cy Yound Award winner??? He DOMINATED the Angels throwing 77 strikes and allowing only 4 hits while walking none. He's the first Red Sox pitcher to throw 9 scoreless innings in a playoff game sine El Tiante did it back in 1975!!!! Poor Lackey....he's a good pitcher himself with 19 wins but the Sox own him at Fenway...His ERA at Fenway is over 8!!!!
Also great performances by Lowell, Youk, and Big Papi...The infield (especially
Lowell) played a great defensive game....
Now the questions is, which Dice K is going to show up Friday????

I'm surprised that Lackey wasn't pulled. He was doing his very best and did get some Ks, however, they just didn't land where he intended them to.
It's going to be an interesting series.
