We feel the same way about Jeff Weaver too....good luck with that one.

I was chuckling when I realized that Piñeiro was going to pitch the 11th inning for the Red Sox.

There's a reason his nickname in Seattle was Joel Piñata. Seattle just had to get through the top of the 11th without damage and victory was almost assured.

Weaver is the most Jeckle and Hyde pitcher I've ever seen. Either he pitches great or terrible. You never know what your going to see.



PS. At the beginning of the week, it sure looked like the Angels were going to likely strech their 8 game lead. With the M's playing the Boston and the Angels playing the Royals. You just never know how things are going to turn out?

I would rather face the Yankees in the playoffs....the Angels have done quite well against the Yankees.

Now keeping Boston out....that is a better idea.

Actually, keeping both and out of the playoffs is the ideal. It's irritating that fans of those teams, aided and abetted by ESPN, believe that making the playoffs is their birthright

I could not agree more....it makes one ill the way the Eastcoast Sports Promotion Network drones on and on about the same stuff day in and day out.
