    DITTO!!

I think RSN mostly lives in a Pollyanna world ~~WE BELIEVE!! We put ourselves through this stress every year... and when October comes and goes... WAIT 'TILL NEXT YEAR!! In the meantime, I think we feel like "our team" can do whatever we'd like them to ~ by simply wishing to make it so!! GO SOX!

      Go Sox!!!!

      Thank you, Detroit!!!!!
Heading into Bronx with 8 game lead certainly puts the Sox in a great position!!!!
Win 1 and we still leave the Bronx with a 7 game lead...win 2 out of 3 and we come home with 9 game lead with 6 games at the Fens over Labor Day weekend... I am sure Yanks are going to come out with something to prove after what happen last night in Detroit ...Should be a great series!!!!

Sorry about that, Red O...no slight intended....
Hey, you must be happy with last nights results:
        Angels 6, Mariners 0

At Seattle, John Lackey (16-8) pitched his second straight seven-hit shutout against the Mariners, and Los Angeles increased its lead in the AL West to three games.

Garret Anderson homered and had three RBIs as the Angels improved to 9-4 against Seattle this season.

Could another Angels-Red Sox playoff series be looming this October????
I just my Sox invoice for playoff tickets...$7000!!!! Time to remortgage the old homestead!!!
        Go Sox!!!!

AHA ! our plan is working !!

Just like in 2004, we are lulling you (of the evil empire persuasion) into a false sense of security ! Then, we'll pounce !

We had it planned to lose these 3 games as we wanted you to cling to the hope of getting into the penant race via the wildcard.

Yes, we'll get you overconfident (just like game 3 of the 2004 ALCS) and then you won't even know what hit you.

BTW, the Rocket was impressive last night.

                    No Joy In Mudville Tonight!!!

Looks like our beloved BoSox are going to be 0 and 4 last 4 games
How the hell can they go down to Baltimore by 6 runs in only 6 innings
Only good thing about tonights game is with with JD going down tonight, hopefully we'll get to see Ellsbury in the lineup for September....
Keep the faith, Red Sox Nation!!!

Last night, I had the honor and pleasure of dining with Garry, Ireland's Call, his absolutely lovely wife and her sister. We were in the North End. It was a beautiful night with throngs of people in the street and outside the cafes and bars watching & cheering the game. I thought they were cheering as we were so far ahead. Did not know that the rookie had a no-hitter until we got back to the Custom House for a drink and watched it on the TV.

See ! Garry & company brought the "Luck O' The Irish" to the BoSox !

A great night for all !!!

Thank you for the good luck, Garry...would you consider staying in Boston for another 6 weeks or so????
Hoped you were at the games, Beags, as our reprentative and resident cheerleader.

                            Yeah Clay!!!!

Unfortunately no, I was not there...
Other business associates had the tickets for this weekend...
However, I was cheering from my living room couch!!!
Counting Lester, we now have 5 members from this years' Pawtucket Sox
playing on the roster and playing well !!!

What a way to start September...10 runs and a no hitter!!!!

                            GO SOX!!!!
