What a game!!!

It was electric in the park last night!!! Nothing like having a pregame cigar on Yawkey Way Becketts performance
should have clinched him the AL Cy Young award. And Big Papi!!! On base 16 of 18 during playoffs!!! Lets hope The Big Schill has another game left in that arm this season....He certainly has the heart!!!!

We fell asleep last night sometime in the tenth inning. But the Rockies pulled it out at the end. Yay!

Just one more game to go, hopefully, and the Rockies will be on their way!

I guess they didn't want you eastern time people to see the game because they didn't start until 10:00 and it couldn't have ended there until about 3 a.m.

They have 2 more to go. The League Champion Series, like the World Series, is best of 7 so it takes 4 wins. The Division series is just best of 5.

The Rockies are looking very good and, as I said earlier, could be the Cinderella team this year.

Theo got rid of dirt dog Trot Nixon because he couldnt hit lefthanders
and replaced him with Nancy Drew..... Hey Theo, how did that work out
for you (and us) last night????
Cleveland's bullpen certainly outperformed BoSox pen last night and Trot busted the game wide open in the 11th after Gagme put 2 batters on with a hit and a walk.......
Congrats Indian fans....your Tribe came back from 3-1 and 6-5 deficits
with some great relief pitching and deserved to win the game....

Here's hoping Dice K has a better outing vs Indians Monday night
than he did last week vs Angels....

I think thanks is also in order for the Dodgers who did not spend any more on gagme and drew and saddled the bosox with those two in their budget. As I have said before....those are two of my favorite bosox acquisitions in the recent past.

with Gagne, Drew and Willy Mo Pena...and certainly not getting moneys worth out of Dice K this post season either....
Gag-me and Nancy (Drew) will asked to be traded after Boston press
and fans are thru with them this winter if Sox lose series to Cleveland...
Could very well be Cleveland and Rockies if Sox keep playing like they have in game 2 and tonight in game 3...
Oh well, we still have the Pats to cheer for this fall and winter here in Beantown....When is the Superbowl????

It's not over yet.....one could see your pitching beyond Josh was suspect even with the injury depleted small ball Angels. Dice was also a favorite of mine but since I used to read about nancy's hang nail DL injuries with the dodgers he holds a special place in my heart.

The Pats are very scary this year!!!!!....and hey the Bruins beat the Kings and the Sharks on their west coast tour so thanks for that. Plus the celtics now finally have hope since lurch proved his true loyalty is with the celts and not the wolves.

One has to admit that it is a good time to be a NE sports fan....even BC is in the mix this year.

IMO if the tribe goes on and wins the world series then Torre might be able to keep his Job since they lost to this years champs. They might not wait for the seris to ens since I heard today that they are in Tampa now.
