The only thing Illinois will be giving up on New Years Day is a lot of points.

The good thing is that I will be there in person to witness it.

The ride home will be great regardless. I don't take any of this stuff very seriously. Actually we will be going back to the Westin Hotel in Pasadena after the game. We don't drive home until the next day.

Good game

I just hope for a well played game. Blow-outs are too boreing and I love a good game. I live in the Bay Area and went to San Jose State which was a good team when I was in college many moons ago. My heart is always with San Jose first, Stanford next, Cal next (all rivals) and then USC. I'm just the opposite in pro as I hate the Bay Area teams and have been a Chicago Bear fan all my life (parents from Chicago and my Dad started me on my path). I was even at the San Francisco game against the Bears when Sayers went for 6 TD'S.
Now you know my loyalties all I want still is a great hard fought game. Please, no blow-outs.
