  • Who watches F1 here?

I'm a Michael Schumacher and Ferrari fan for more than 10 years now. The recently concluded season was just awesome...theres too many ups and downs than the stock market. Plus the season finale was brilliant, even Stephen Spielberg couldn't make a movie more suspense than that.

I enjoyed the racing with the unexpected success of Lewis Hamilton adding greatly to what can be an incredibly boring spectacle, particularly on tracks where overtaking is difficult.
What sickens me though is the level of corruption in the governing body. How can they justify McLaren being fined $50 million and losing all their constructor points for having stolen Ferrari data and then doing nothing when Renault are discovered to have done the very same thing to McLaren? Absolutely nothing to do with the fact that Renault threatened to pull out of F1 if they were fined of course! And Renault weren't competitive with Ferrari either.

Well Mclaren wa also gone unpunished after the first hearing and unless a new evidence will come up then Mclaren will go away unscathed. Unfortunately for the Woking team, that exactly what happened. Email transcripts clearly stated that they (Mclaren) are trying some of Ferrari's set ups, using the knowledge they got into their own car. Heck they even knew some of Ferrari's race strategies.

Renault is on the same boat. They got away with it because there's no enough evidence that they use or trying to use what they found out about Mclaren's car. I guess if there's any new evidence that spring up in the future then they will get penalized too.

BTW, Alonso went back to Renault and will be partnered with Piquet Jr. I guess Americans has something to cheer about now.
