Actually it is a job forced upon Congress because "professional" sports will do little or nothing against their participants without oversight.
Exactly right. If there weren't bumbling commissioners like Selig and Goodell, and the player's unions actually cared about the public perception of their livelihood, there wouldn't be a steroid problem in baseball or a spygate in the NFL. It's all about revenue.........
