I have to agree that golf is very time consuming but I still do it. Here in Canada at least in our area it is growing. They can't seem to build the courses fast enough and I can't believe what some are charging for memberships. I am so happy we joined a private course when we did because with the cost now I'm not sure we would do it. Even with a $40,000 cost to join and a six month season at the most we have a waiting list to get in. We play 3 or 4 times a week but probably would not play that much if we didn't belong. The public and semi-private courses are just too slow. I'm not good (just ask rapmarks!) but do enjoy playing 2 or 3 times a week when we're away.

That first and only game was pretty decent. I shot a 98. Never did get around to playing that second hole.

Yes I AM the worm burner! A PAR 3 CAN TAKE ALL DAY.
